Why Choose a 3D Printed Dome Home?

Our homes offer unparalleled benefits that traditional construction simply can’t match. Explore the advantages below:

We use high-performance concretes that are 2-5 times stronger than standard concrete. This superior material, combined with our innovative dome design, results in structures that will far outlast standard home construction. Your 3D printed dome home isn’t just a house; it’s a legacy that can be handed down form generation to generation.

Say goodbye to costly repairs of you home exterior. Our dome homes are designed for longevity, significantly reducing long-term maintenance costs. The solid concrete shell eliminates common issues like regular roof replacement, siding replacement, pest infestations and gutter maintenance! You’ll spend less time and money on upkeep and more time enjoying your home.

Experience dramatic savings on your energy bills. Our dome homes use 50% less energy to heat and cool compared to traditional structures. The unique shape and high-performance materials create excellent insulation, maintaining a comfortable temperature year-round with half the energy input. This not only reduces your carbon footprint but also saves you money every month for the entire life of your home.

Feel secure in your home, no matter what nature throws your way. Our dome structures exceed FEMA’s standards for providing ‘near-absolute’ protection against natural disasters. The aerodynamic shape and robust construction make these homes highly resistant to hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and even wildfires. Your safety and peace of mind are built right into the structure.

Choose a home that’s good for you and the planet. Our construction process reduces waste by 40% compared to traditional methods. With 40% less material needed to enclose the same square footage as conventional buildings, we’re not just building homes – we’re creating a more sustainable future.

Pricing

Whether you’re planning a small ADU addition or a large dream home complex, we have a dome that fits your needs. For homes requiring more than 1700 square feet, work with our designer on custom layouts to incorporate domes connected via hallways.

Please note these prices do not include the site prep needed, permitting or your floorplans/design etc. that are needed for permitting. These are just prices for an unfinished shell and foundation. However, being partnered with full general contractors we can provide these additional services, they are just very site and project specific and fluctuate greatly with commodity prices, so we are not able to set standard rates. Same goes for the rates of adding a second floor; the shell price stays the same but the cost of framing your second floor depends entirely on your floorplan.

We currently have the 18’, the 32’ and the 36’ sizes available. However, for any project of 3 or more domes of the same size,  we can also offer domes in diameters of 20′, 22′, 24′, 26′, 28′, 30′, 34′ & 38′.

Building Your Dream Home

Here’s how we bring your dream home to life: We can project manage start to finish, or go a la carte and manage as much of the pre-construction processes as you’re comfortable with.
  1. Consultation and Design: We start by understanding your needs and the current stage of the project. We can consult on zoning and land use, or dive right into creating your custom site map. Then work with our designer to create a custom exterior design and floor plan, or go the most cost effective and pick one of each from above.
  2. Permitting: We can provider consultation as you work with the county to compile, submit and make any necessary modifications to your permitting package, or we can handle it all for you.
  3. Site Preparation: We can manage your lot preparation, ensuring all necessary infrastructure is in place for construction, or just consult you through the process.
  4. Foundation Installation: Unless you have a substantial construction experience, we’ll install formworks and pour your home’s foundation!
  5. 3D Printing and Shell Construction: Using our state-of-the-art Eco Dome Printer, we construct the shell of your home in a matter of hours, not month. Then depending on the number of doors and windows, we’ll spend another day-there installing your dormers.
  6. Interior Finishing and Systems Integrations: We’ll complete your home with your desired level of high-quality finishes or the most cost effective options. Integrating as many smart home or sustainability fixtures and you would like.
